Trinity College London is a leading international exam board and independent education charity. With over 850,000 candidates per year in more than 60 countries worldwide, Trinity specialises in the assessment of communicative and performance skills around the world since 1877.

Solo and Pair exams

“Trinity’s solo and pair exams support learners as they develop confidence and skills in a range of performance types. Through these exams learners are encouraged to explore a range of material, building performance programmes with which they have a personal engagement and with increasing autonomy as they progress up the levels.”

Group exams

“Trinity’s group exams have been designed to reflect the fact that people participate in the performing arts alongside others and that how they interact with other performers as well as an audience is a skill in itself. Each group graded exam assesses the group’s achievements as a whole.”

Students can choose the syllabus strand that suits their individual strengths and have the freedom to create a bespoke programme from pieces students enjoy, or that present a new challenge. The performance-grounded examinations are specifically designed to develop your child’s skills through the repertoire they perform, and have the flexibility to allow performers to focus upon the areas in which they wish to specialise.

All Trinity lessons are 30 minutes in duration and tuition is delivered individually, in pairs and in groups. Students will have the opportunity to take Trinity examinations biannually.

Grades 6-8 examinations have the additional benefit of providing students with UCAS points. Trinity assessments are an externally regulated and internationally recognised exam system, with a 140-year heritage that you can trust.

“The word theatre comes from the Greeks. It means the seeing place. It is the place people come to see the truth about life and the social situation..”
